A board-certified dermatologist with 30+ years of experience, Dr. Alonso-Llamazares trained in Madrid and at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN), specializing in cutaneous immunopathology, with focus areas including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, bullous autoimmune diseases, and cutaneous lymphomas.
He has authored 60+ peer-reviewed publications, is a frequent invited speaker, served on the University of Miami Dermatology faculty, and continues teaching residents at the Miami VA Hospital. He founded Coral Gables Dermatology & Aesthetics (2019) and Driven Research (2020), where he is President and Principal Investigator in clinical trials of topical therapies and next-generation biologics.
